Capture the Moments That Matter Most
01 — My Style
I don’t photograph families. I photograph what holds them together
Every family has a language of its own a look, a laugh, a ritual that belongs only to them. My job is not to pose you. My job is to find that language and photograph it.
I work in a documentary style inspired by real life the chaos, the tenderness, the in- between moments that nobody thinks to photograph but everyone remembers. I give your family something to do, and then I step back and let the story tell itself.
Before I was a photographer, I was a nurse. I spent years beside people in their most human moments. That taught me something I carry into every session: the most beautiful things happen when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
02 — What to Expect
We’ll start slow. No rushing, no pressure, no forced smiles in the first minutes. I’ll take time to connect with your kids, learn their names, make them laugh because when the kids are comfortable, the whole family relaxes.
Then I’ll guide you through a series of actions, not poses. Things like chasing each other, whispering something in their ear, spinning until everyone falls over laughing. Real things that real families do. My camera is always running.
By the end of the session, most families forget I was even there. That’s exactly where the magic lives. You’ll receive a carefully edited gallery of images — each one a frame of your family’s story, ready to live on your walls and in your hearts for decades.
03 — Who This Is For
This session is for the families who are done pretending
For the family that is loud, messy, and beautifully imperfect.
For the parents who don’t need a perfect photo they need a true one.
For the family where the kids never stand still, someone always makes a silly face, and nobody can agree on anything and that’s exactly who you are. If you’ve always felt like your family is “too much” for a traditional session you’ve just found your photographer.
04 — Where We Work
I’m based in Bellevue, WA and work throughout the Eastside — Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Mercer Island, and beyond.
I don’t work in studios. I work in real places that feel like your life — parks, urban streets, waterfronts, your own neighborhood. Locations with texture, with light, with character. Places that become part of the story.
05 — What to Wear
Whatever makes you feel like you
No matching outfits. No special shopping trips. No coordinated color palettes. Wear what you’d wear on a good Sunday morning. Wear what your kids love. Wear what makes you feel comfortable, free, and like yourself.
The favorite hoodie your son refuses to take off? Perfect. The dress your daughter picked all by herself? Beautiful. The jeans and t-shirt you wear every weekend? That’s the real you and that’s exactly who I want to photograph.
Twenty years from now, your kids won’t remember what you were wearing. They’ll remember how you made them feel.
“This is the version of your family that will never exist again.
Let’s make sure someone photographs it.”
